Snake and hamster
In many countries it is forbidden to feed animals living vertebrates. In Japan, however, allowed to feed snakes live rodents. In the Tokyo zoo in a terrarium in a snake named Aochan, which refused to eat frozen rats, put the hamster. Aochan, the snake, who loves rodents, it would seem, was simply to eat the hamster, but instead, she left him alone.
Hamster, apparently, is not afraid of his new friend and often sleeps on it. First, the keepers thought with a snake something wrong, or that she later will eat the hamster, but the animals became friends and not break up over the last few months. They have become a local landmark of the zoo, and the happy hamster was named Gohan, which means “food“.
