Photographer from Sydney Alastair Pollock has done an excellent series of underwater photos. He photographed navy seals. These animals live at the Montague island in New South Wales.
Montague island is a great place if you like to photograph the life of marine mammals.
Here the famous navy seals can be seen from boats around the Northern part of the island.In late winter and spring here regularly you can meet more than 1,000 navy seals.In the waters around the island you can find two types of navy seals.Cape navy seals known that likes to sit in little groups on the rocks, and sometimes at each other.
Less friendly new Zealand navy seals also inhabit these waters. They prefer a looser “intimate space” and can bite other cats that dare to swim too close.
Around Montague, you can also see penguins and humpback whales. And sometimes you can even stumble on a killer whale, which appears here a couple of times a year.
