Little kitten survived the attack, but then found a loving home

Trooper lived under a porch in Colorado, surrounded by his four brothers and sisters. He was only 10 days when he and his family were attacked by a dog. Trooper and his sister Patience were the only survivors.

A kind man found the kittens and brought them to the vet and then got in touch with the organization for the protection of animals. Trooper was in a particularly serious condition (his right front paw had to be amputatedso she was wounded).little-kitten-survived-the-attackbut-then-found-a-loving-home

However, the trooper was too small for the operation.the-kitten-which-is-half-less-than-his-brother-learning-to-eat-independently2

“Anesthesia for these kids can be very dangerous, but we knew that without the surgery he would not survive and we decided to take a chance,” said Dr. Emily Hayes.

Trooper successfully underwent surgery.

Now he had a recovery. Troper and his sister was bottle-fed. His wounds and bandages were inspected daily to avoid infection.4.2Two months later trooper became as cheerful and happy as any other kitten, with a healthy love of toys. Naturally, such a charming personality didn’t take long to find the parents. Exactly the same as his sisters (they were taken in different houses).
We are happy that he is now a member of our family,” said Cindy H., a new mom of Trooper.little-kitten-survived-the-attackbut-then-found-a-loving-home5
