HE WANTED TO BE EUTHANIZED, BUT THE VET FOUGHT TO THE LAST FOR HIS LIFE
Bronson was one of nine puppies born chocolate Labrador via C-section. When the owners realized that he had a cleft palate, they decided to put him to sleep. These puppies rarely survive, but the vet was determined to give him a second chance in life.
Veterinarian explains why such seemingly minor defect puppies are often euthanized. “Depending on the width of the gap, they have problems with sucking, and they die of hunger.”
She fed him through the feeding tube every 1-2 hours during the week and even took it with me to work. When it became clear that Bronson will survive, the vet just could not take it. It is difficult to judge, looking at this gorgeous creature.
When the vet saved the life of Bronson, he was very tiny.
